Chitose - Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival
Dates: February 1st – 24th, 2025

🚌 Access: about 40 minutes by car or taxi from Sapporo City; about 55 minutes by local bus from New Chitose Airport (1260 yen)
🎟️ Admission: Junior high school students and above: 1,000 yen (elementary school students and below: free)
See: stunning ice sculptures made with water from Lake Shikotsu. During the day, they shine with a natural blue color known as Lake Shikotsu Blue, and at night they are illuminated with colorful lights, creating a magical world.

The International Snow Sculpture Competition was held for the first time in four years.
