He continues to produce works vigorously, such as holding solo exhibitions several times a year in Tokyo and Sapporo. 11 points depicting the scene of memories in the back of their heart, entitled "Place of that day" is displayed. Japan, U.S. to aim for stronger cyberdefenses in upcoming security talks

Japan and the United States are expected to agree in bilateral security talks next week to strengthen their defenses against cyberattacks, a diplomatic source said Saturday, apparently with North Korea and China in mind.
Expanded cooperation is expected to be stipulated in a joint statement to be issued after a “two-plus-two” security meeting of their foreign and defense chiefs in Washington on Thursday, the source said.
As cyberattacks pose a serious threat to national security, Japan and the United States aim to bolster measures to prevent any leak of classified information, including that on state-of-the-art weapons, and to protect essential communication and transport infrastructure, the source said.
Bolstering cybersecurity as well as ballistic missile defense in light of North Korea’s nuclear and missile programs will be the priority issues, the source said.
Tensions on the Korean Peninsula have surged since North Korea twice tested intercontinental ballistic missiles last month. That led to the United States and North Korea trading threats to take military action, including Pyongyang’s threat to fire four ballistic missiles toward the U.S. Pacific territory of Guam, and U.S. President Donald Trump’s vow that the North Korean leader “will truly regret it” if he follows through.
The Japanese and U.S. governments will agree during the two-plus-two meeting, the first since Trump took office in January, on the need to tackle cyberattacks in a comprehensive manner.
Via the U.S.-Japan Cyber Defense Policy Working Group, a dialogue framework for defense officials, the two governments are expected to agree to share more information, carry out joint drills and train experts to deal with cyberattacks, the source said.

OKHOTSK LAVENDER FIELDS FESTIVAL 2017
The best time to see lavender is in mid-July. In accordance with this, the “Okhotsk Lavender Festival” will be held from Saturday, July 1st to August 6th.
Various projects are planned every weekend with the five keywords of Fes’ keywords “Culture”, “Marche”, “Art”, “Cafe” and “Music” .
“Monbetsu river ice drum” appeared at the opening on Saturday, July 1. On the next 2nd (Sunday) we will hold a “lavender workshop” (how to manage and increase).

In addition, CAFE in the flower salon will sell ‘homemade lavender lemonade’ on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays during the festival period.

Shikotsuko's Haunted Hotel

You can hear the sounds of water lapping against the shore. Suddenly a white shadow appears! A ghost waits in the ruins of the hotel. This rumor is going around some of the bikers and the local circle of car enthusiasts.
Route 512, nicknamed, "the line between Sapporo and Shikotsu Lake," is a popular cruising course surrounded by forest. Along the way to Lake Shikotsu,sit the ruins of what some years ago was a lakeside hotel. A rumor has been spreading that a mysterious phenomenon has appeared at the hotel.
In the summer of 1993, two men in their mid-twenties left for the lake by car. While they were driving on the straight road surrounded by woods, they suddenly came across a two-story hotel. They stopped the car in a small vacant lot beside the road and started to walk to the hotel.
The windows were broken and the walls were crumbling. Standing in the moonlight, one man suddenly heard a loud sound. It was like a bomb going off, but the other man couldn't hear it.
Afraid, they decided to go back to their car. Getting close to the car, who should they meet there but a ghost. The white shadow seemed to be waiting for them. They quickly got into their car and drove away as fast as they could.
Actually, this story is quite popular among young people, and I have gone there several times. The following is my experience. The best time to go is late at night, commonly called "ushimitsu doki". This means "the most favored time for ghosts to appear." When you go during this time, you can really experience the horror. It is definitely worse than in the daytime.
The hotel looked like a lodging, and I thought it wasn't very old because its roof was steady and it seemed solidly built and not in such bad condition. It stands quietly in the center of the woods. It certainly seemed strange, but I didn't feel that it was a ghost…
