Well I am excited to say that next weekend in the sea port city of Tomakomai Japan in the cozy famous BAR OLD I will be DJing one hour of minimal style bonus beats from records that nobody knows of. .. I feel really excited, challenged and happy!
HOKKAIDO (TR) – Hokkaido Prefectural Police have sent five male youths belonging to a bosozoku biker gang to prosecutors for allegedly riding dangerously in Sapporo last year, reports Nippon News Network (Jan. 31).
In October, a 19-year-old member of the gang Kyoran (Fury) allegedly was a part of a group of riders who ignored red traffic signals while slowly meandering their motorcycles between lanes in a manner considered dangerous on National Route 12 from Shiroishi Ward to Atsubetsu Ward.
The 19-year-old, who has been accused of violating the Road Traffic Act, denies the allegations, telling police that he did not ride that day.
According to police, Kyoran formed in the summer of last year. Since then, the group has repeatedly carried out rides considered dangerous through the heart of Sapporo.
In footage released by police on Wednesday, riders in white suits can be seen weaving their motorcycles back and forth on a road at night in November. On an extension of the seats, the lettering “Bosozoku Emergency Vehicle” is…
Hokkaido Seafood Fair in Niseko
From 3 to 25 February, the Hokkaido Federation of Fisheries is providing selected Niseko area restaurants with some of Hokkaido’s most famous seafood ingredients, and these restaurants will be churning out signature dishes for the duration of the festival.
Find salmon, scallops, shrimps and kelp from the pristine oceans of the north in a huge variety of dishes during this time. This year’s special seafood creations range from creamy seafood soup, hot pots, tempura to gnocchi and salads. The lineup of restaurants covers a huge range from Western to Japanese, local izakaya pubs to fine dining establishments, so there is sure to be something for every palate and budget.
These new dishes will be on the menu for a strictly limited time, with each restaurant holding limited servings of their chosen ingredient – so be sure to call ahead not to miss out.

Hokkaido: Man disguised as woman entered women’s bathhouse
HOKKAIDO (TR) – Hokkaido Prefectural Police have arrested a 50-year-old man who disguised himself as a woman and entered a women’s public bathhouse in Sapporo, reports the Yomiuri Shimbun (Jan. 12).At around 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the man entered the bath while attired in a bob-shaped wig and make-up. He then soaked in a tub for about 50 minutes.
The man, who has been accused of trespassing, admits to the allegations. “The men’s bath is dirty, while the women’s provides peace of mind,” the suspect was quoted by the Sapporo-Nishi Police Station.
With a rotund build and standing 180 centimeters tall, the man used some kind of cover to conceal the lower half of his body from other customers, at least one of whom sensed something was amiss and lodged a report with management.
Upon being confronted by management and police, the man said in a falsetto voice, “I am a woman.”

This is an exhibition to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the career of animated film director Makoto Shinkai (1973 –). It features all of his works, from his first film Hoshi no koe (Voices of a Distant Star), for which he did most of the work by himself, to Byōsoku Go Senchimētoru (5 centimeters Per Second), which enjoyed an exceptionally long run despite being screened at just one theater, and Kimi no na wa (Your Name), which was a blockbuster that set many records. The exhibition explores the fascinating world of Shinkai through his beautiful background pictures, storyboards, character and scene references, as well as a section where visitors can experience the view of the world portrayed in his stories.
