Women of the Muse
To kick off our ninth year of open readings, the Poets’ Co-op is hosting a special poetry workshop presented by Lorna Dee Cervantes, a pivotal figure in the Chicano literary movement. She has received two National Endowment for the Arts poetry fellowships, the prestigious Lila Wallace Readers Digest Fellowship, two Pushcart Prizes and numerous other grants and awards.
Four fantastic women readers will be featured for the Poets’ Co-op Spring 2010 Season at the Loveland Museum Gallery: February 4th - Lorna Dee Cervantes, March 4th - Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer, April 1st - Bhanu Kapil & May 6th - Sandy Tseng. These poets will also be performing on the Poets’ Co-op TV Show (CCTV54) on the first Sunday of each month.
