Five of the people voting on Pope:
1) Angelo Sodano, accused of taking large gifts from a religious order, and halting an investigation of a priest later exposed as a pathological liar;
2) Sean Brady who survived an uproar after government investigations uncovered cover-ups of sexual abuse of minors;
3) Marc Oulette repeatedly refused to meet with abuse victims;
4) Francis George accused of failing to remove priest accused of abuse;
5) Javier Errazuriz who is said to have ignored abuse allegations for years, and refused to meet with victims.
The church is growing rapidly in places like Africa. The next pope will have significant power. -- Sean Faircloth, Dir. of Strategy & Policy
