How to convert VHS videotape to 60p digital video (2023) - OBS software

This page shows you how to use the Amarec software to get excellent quality, uncompressed game captures. I’ve had many issues with this software over the years and sometimes it won’t work at all with Windows 10. If you’d like to try it, use v3.10 or higher, as I’ve seen weird bugs with other versions…including a bug that recorded at 30fps, even though it was set to 60fps!

e color format was not supported, and the preview image was flipped upside down.
Amareco TV 4 also supports Intensity Pro 4K RGB capture, so you can record and preview in RGB as well as YUV. With Intensity Pro 4K, two video source filters (capture devices in Amareco TV) are registered, and the color formats that can be used are slightly different. ・Blackmagic WDM Capture YUV10bit YUV8bit RGB10bit RGB8bit・Decklink Video/Audio capture YUV10bit YUV8bit RGB10bit Blackmagic WDM Capture Blackmagic WDM Capture can capture in RGB32 (RGB 8bit) or R210 (RGB 10bit). Here we will explain the case of RGB32 (RGB 8bit). R210 is the same as Decklink Video Capture (in terms of Amareco TV), which will be introduced later. The YUV system is the same as the current AmaReco TV, so it will be omitted in this article. As a specific operation, it is passed to the custom filter of Amareco TV as ARGB with alpha channel (the content is the same as RGB32), so we responded by rewriting the subtype to RGB32.
The contents of the frame data are probably the same, so only the header information will be rewritten. AmaReco TV does not perform any unnecessary conversion processing.
Decklink Video/Audio capture RGB32 (RGB 8bit) cannot be used here. Only for R210 (RGB 10bit). The YUV system is the same as the current AmaReco TV, so it will be omitted in this article. AVI Decompressor converts R210 (RGB 10bit) to RGB32 (RGB 8bit) and operates. Therefore, both the content displayed in the preview and the recording will be of RGB 8bit quality. which one should i use? Decklink Video/Audio capture definitely performs 10bit-8bit conversion, so if the video signal is 8bit, this process is useless. In a similar case, using Blackmagic WDM Capture would look cleaner and safer, but it's hard to say since the conversion process may be done inside the video source filter. I think it's okay to use either one, since they can be used in the same way. However, it is troublesome to explain both and check the operation with both, so I use Decklink Video/Audio capture although there is no particular basis.
