Scanner/ Copiers

Post by Alexander Mundy » Sat Feb 27, 2010 2:56 am

Is it possible to download digital images of items copied, scanned and faxed from public and semi-public loctaions such as Libraries, Kinko's, Mailboxes Etc., etc?

If so, how?

it seems like many new machines are "wireless ready" they have their own IP addy so maybe bring a laptop near and see if you can pick up and login.

Does seem that way doesn't it?

What's weird is that a week ago I heard an NSA person saying that people should be aware that public copiers and such can be compromised.

ow, what about if a restaurant had a camera(s) on its lap top(s) that it uses for patron transactions or to view patrons as they eat; in order to know when to bring the next course? Of course, these would only be in restaurants at the height of cuisine.

Could I log on and watch the patrons dine? Capture photos?

If its on the web, is it in the public doughmain?

TMZ eat your heart out!
